Read the solution context first. The summary identifies the active ballistic profile, environment, wind call, solver, and number of current solutions. Treat those as one workspace revision. Check the save and workspace state. Saved locally, sync pending, offline, recalculating, and needs review describe different conditions. Your last accepted solution remains visible while a replacement is still being calculated or reviewed. Select the intended target. In Live HUD, choose the target from the active card and confirm its distance, elevation, wind hold, and notes before using the call. Use the card preview as a selector. Choose a stage, swipe between stage cards on touch screens, then select a printed row to move the Live HUD to that target. Use Edit card when the source row itself needs to change. Follow the source back when something looks wrong. Open Profile, Environment, Wind, Card, or COF to correct the source. Recalculate before relying on the changed workspace.

Visible does not always mean newly accepted. FreeDOPE preserves the last accepted solution while edits or recalculation are in progress. Read the workspace state instead of assuming every visible number came from the latest input.

The active profile names the exact rifle and ammunition configuration. Environment and wind sources are current enough for the decision. The card matches the latest authoritative target order and distances. Distance and angular units match the optic, notes, and range plan. Every printed, exported, or device copy comes from the accepted workspace you just reviewed.

Expected result. You can name the exact profile, conditions, wind, card, units, and acceptance state behind every call you carry to the line.
