Reliable rifle, confirmed optic, chamber flag, and any case or muzzle-control equipment required by the range. Known ammunition lot with more rounds than the published course requires, packed separately from unverified lots. Enough proven magazines for the stage plans, clearly marked and function-checked. Eye and ear protection, including a spare or simple backup when practical. A stable front support and one familiar rear or positional bag; avoid bringing untested complexity as a substitute for practice. Verified stage data with units, plus a pencil or weather-resistant way to record corrections. Fastener-specific tools, lens cloth, simple cleaning or obstruction-check equipment, and batteries only for devices you actually use. Water, food, sun and rain protection, layers, medication, and footwear appropriate for the venue.

Reliability beats volume. A small set of practiced, rule-compliant equipment is easier to carry and manage than a cart full of options you have never used on the clock.

Check current division and match rules. Equipment allowances and classifications can change. Confirm the official rules and organizer instructions before buying or modifying gear for a category.
