- Follow the host range, match director, and range officer. Never assume commands or rifle-handling areas are identical to another match.
- Maintain muzzle discipline, trigger-finger discipline, and the required empty-chamber or chamber-flag state whenever the rifle is not being fired under command.
- Handle firearms only in authorized conditions and locations. Ask before uncasing, moving, troubleshooting, or dry-firing.
- Listen during stage briefs and while another competitor is firing. Save non-urgent questions for a safe pause.
- Help reset, paint, spot, or record only when assigned and safe to do so; every match relies on shared work.
- Do not touch another person's rifle, ammunition, optic, or support equipment without explicit permission.
- Report an unsafe condition immediately and plainly. A score or schedule is never more important than stopping uncertainty.
